About APaNGO

Spectacle is a partner in APaNGO. APaNGO stands for "Advocacy, Participation and Non Governmental Organisations" in urban planning.

It aims to increase community involvement in urban planning and to undertake a study into such involvement in all of the North Western European Countries, that is the project partner countries (UK, The Netherlands, Belgium) and France, Germany and Luxembourg.

It looks at:

• How the planning systems work.
• What opportunities are available for communities to have a say.
• How communities are actually involved.
