The Siege of Sidney Street

To mark the centenary year of The Siege of Sidney Street, Spectacle are entering into development of a co-production with Latvian partners; Bruno Ascuks and Lauris Gundars and 'Peter the Painter' expert Phil Ruff.

The documentary follows years of independent interest from those involved and will explore how the story developed; from the Latvian roots of the protagonists, the London events - the Houndsditch Murders and Siege of Sidney Street in 1911 and the wider political context.
