Introduction

Rachel Mawhood has been campaigning both independently and on behalf of NOGOE 2012 against the destruction of Greenwich Park.

LOCOG's (London Organising Committe of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games) choice to host the Olympic Equestrian Events on a World Heritage site has proved controversial, and NOGOE has been at the forefront of protests.

NOGOE (No to Greenwich Olympic Equestrian Events) is a community action group whose members believe Greenwich Park is not a suitable venue for the 2012 Olympic equestrian events. They are campaigning for the equestrian events to be moved to a more suitable venue.
