EXTRA CLIP - The Poverty Trap

These clips are a selection from the Poverty and Participation in the Media project, due for DVD release in May. The interviews began in summer 2008 with the most recent being shot in March this year.

All interviews have been produced within Poverty and Participation in the Media Workshops. All interviews and production was conducted by participants.

 

 

Interview testimony discussing the idea of the 'poverty trap'; in which people can become caught on goverment benefits or trapped because of their social status and unable to work themselves free of poverty. Participants are from Luton and areas in South London.
